My thoughts are ready

to jump off of the wire

and onto the floor--I'd like

to say something beautiful but

I'm just a geek with a keyboard

whose been known to say

pretty things in poems--pretty

things that congregate in shadows

angry things that hide behind the eyes and ears--this is treacherous

this wire tripping

I'll tiptoe off quietly

while you wait...
